Due to dietary requirements I cannot use the plates / cutlery supplied in a 1 br villa. Could I request a supply of paper plates and bowls and plastic utensils (like there are in a studio?)

I am NOT trying to cheap out, I have no problem getting/bringing my own, I was just curious if this was even an option. I'm assuming it's not b/c I'm aware that in a studio they give you a supply and that's it. I could very simply just take in onto my grocery order.

I'm staying on points, if that makes a difference.

Just curious, what do you do when you dine in a restaurant? I'm assuming kosher??

yes, kosher. We are going to be making most of our own meals while in wdw and will order kosher meals when eating in the parks.
(If you mean restaurants at home, we only eat at kosher restaurants.)

Too bad you're not in a 2 bedroom that has a studio attached. You can always get more paper plates in a studio, so I'll bet you can if you call housekeeping. Maybe someone who is staying at WDW can call and ask? I'll be there in 2 1/2 weeks, I will ask if you don't know by then.

I'm assuming you wouldn't be able to use any of the pots/pans/cooking utensils either for this situation. Maybe you could ask DVC for new ones for what you need.

I have heard of DVC delivering new, in the box, coffee pots for Kosher guests. I wonder if they could do the same with dishware and silverware? I'd call Member Services to inquire.

Otherwise, I agree, housekeeping should have no problem in delivering disposable products.

In the past, Disney has accommodated the needs of guests following kosher guidelines. Contact Member Services and ask that your villa be modified. I'm not exactly sure what all Disney will do, but if you talk to them ahead of time you can figure out if you need to bring anything from home.

wow I didn't know they could be so accommodating. I will definitely call. Thanks!
