Hello All,
I am just wondering if I can put in a request with POP not to have a room on the first floor? I have read on these boards thats it better not to be on the first floor. Also, would I call POP to make the request or would I go through Disney travel with whom we made our original reservation.

They obviously never even looked at the requests. The computer places you wherever. I was lucky the CM switched me. EVen worse, this also happened to me on my prior stay at WL, and that time they refused to switch me off the ground floor. I won't stay at WL again since I can't get off the ground!
). Obviousy some people's requests are granted, and here on this DIS, we hear about the success stories far more than the denied requests. I am zero-for-five for requests, so I have good reason for thinking requests aren't read.
). I sincerely believe the computer assigns most rooms, especially if you have no outstanding issues (handicapped, connecting, etc), and no human is involved in the assignment.
