Can I remove a person from a reservation without cancelling?

We had booked a trip to Disney World at the Yacht Club Nov 1-8th using the Free Dining plan. This was booked for the 4 of us. It now looks like only 3 of us will be going. The Yacht Club has no rooms left for this promotion.

So, my question is can I call up and remove one person from the package and keep everything else the same? Will they cancel this one and make a new reservation? How does it work?

You can just remove someone. You'll have a modification fee within 45 days.

As long as it isn't the lead guest, you can simply remove the person who isn't going. If it's the lead guest on the reservation, you may have to re-book.
