I have made reservations using the AAA rate for 2007. My plans are too stay fifteen days which requires two reservations as the system only allows a fourteen day reservation. Can I add the Disney Dining plan on that one day reservation without adding it on the fourteen day stay? If so, how long do I have to use that day plan…the day before, that day and the day after? :confused3

AFAIK you need a 3 night stay for the dining plan. Also, since the dining plan is based on nights, you get to use it the day of your first night stay, up till the day after your last night. (Make sense?)
I would book the 14 day package, and then just a 1 night room only. Unless you are arriving fairly early and departing fairly late, this should give you just about enough credits.

You can but you would need to purchase a one day ticket. The credits expire at midnight of the day you checkout. If you made a room only reservation for the last night you could use any extra credits on your 14th day.

sorry but edited. Assuming 15 days you mean 15 nights.

If the one night is first it isnt a problem as far as tickets are concerned because you just get tickets long enough for your entire vacation with that one night. But if you do it for the last night of your vacation you will have to buy new tickets for that one night....but they can be saved for later. Getting dining means you have to have room tickets and dining purchased for that reservation (for non dvc point stays).

Also you can not get AAA rate and Dining through Disney it has to be booked as a package through AAA.

me again lol

Pacakgae is good from time of check in till midnight the day of check out from that reservation. if night one is the package booked for one night with dining you will technically have to check out and back in to start the rest of your vacation. That is check out day and the credits will expire at midnight that day....they wont be good during the rest of your stay....however if you do split your stay say 7 nights/8 nights you can stock on goodies using leftover snack/cs's and store them in your room to use during the rest of the trip but the credits themselves cant be hung on to.
