Can I purchase a ticket & upgrade to express pass later?

I live in Florida and I wanted to purchase the two park tickets for universal at Publix. Those tickets do not include the express pass. Am I able to purchase that later when I get to the park?

Express passes are purchased separately from your entrance tickets unless you are purchasing the VIP tickets.

Thank you! That's what I thought but we have never been there and I wanted to be sure before I bought the tickets and then couldn't buy the express pass. Do they sell them at the gate at the park?

I live in Florida too. I have seen the same ticket cards in Publix for one and two day passes. I do not recall the price but you might get a better price buying through Universal with the Florida Resident rate. It worth comparing.

Express passes are sold at the gates as well as in the gift stores in the park. I would wait to see how the lines are inside the park before you purchase them.

I would wait until you arrive to see if you need to purchase them...you may not need to. Here is the pricing chart:
