We booked a trip with this pin code for this December. Since it is past the booking point (think it ended in March), will they allow me to make a change? We would like to downgrade our room to a cheaper one (economy). We originally booked concierge, and now we would like just a standard room. Anyone know if this can happen or are we out of luck?

They likely will.

As always with Disney it never hurts to ask, but do it sooner rather than later. The worst they will say is no.

I tried. Can't make any changes.

Double check your emails because another passholder pin code came around with 40% off in June and you have to book by mid September.

I was originally with the December code and had to add dining before the code expired. I decided to cancel that trip all together and use my new code and found out with the new code I can add dining up to 3 days before arrival!

Actually the can and do make changes but you have to ask to have Guest Services to get involved. I have changed dates, changed resorts and even had to change my kids age since we moved dates and my DD bumped up to an adult.... all on expired Pin codes. If you get a un-helpful CM especially if you are not booking, they will simply say "no changes" comes up in the system (which is probably true). I was ticked the first time, but now I just call and say. "I need to make a change to a package I booked on a PIN code. I was told that Guest Services has to do this, can you help me get to them."

They usually are happy to pass it off although most time I just sit on hold with the original CM while Guest Services does the changes.

Now the only thing I am not sure of is if they let you downgrade. I hope they do, especially since the economy is so bad.

Triplefigs I know you can get this done. Even if you have to threaten to cancel. If you really need to back out of concierge you should be able to do this. It just takes getting to the right person. Good luck. I know you got the fight in you!! At least be sure the real answer is "NO"!

Hi Denise! I think the GF got pretty full with that first code in December. We have a GV reserved with it but tried to change the dates alittle with the new passholder code and couldn't (no GV rooms available).

You might get lucky when it gets closer to the 45 day mark when people have to pay off the packages and decide to cancel.

Good luck!

Really? I don't think that is right because I also have a trip booked with this offer for December (booking ended March 31st) and I made a change to mine on May 1st. Dates and resort stayed the same, but I changed from a woods view bunk bed room at WL to standard room club level. Guest relations did not have to get involved. :confused3

Thanks, everyone. I will call back tomorrow and ask for Guest Services. We have the GF main bldg concierge- the most expensive I could have picked (but our budget was fine then). We want to change to the CR. It would save $1000!

Are the passholder pin codes "random" also? We got AP's in March and I've received no pins at all.

Yeah we just got our AP's recently. How do I sign up and make sure my email is out there to receive anthing. Also, will I automatically get a Mickey Monitor? THANKS
