Maybe "you can't fix stupid" LOL, but I've tried several times and it just pops up to the annual pass purchase site. Is the log in for Preferred passes only?

I'm trying to see when it expires and how much a renewal will cost. Are renewals discounted? If not, I should just wait until our next trip, so that they're good from that date on, right?

They have changed the annual pass website. And if you have an old pass it may not work. If your pass is red it is a good sign it will not work. If your pass is purple then it should be fine. This is from my experience. This has to be a premium annual pass to work on the website.

You can always call the number on the back of your annual pass to check your dates.

Renewal is $99.95 plus tax for a total of $106. You can renew over the phone or at the park but you must renew within 30 days of your pass expiring to get that price. For only $30 more you can upgrade to the preferred annual pass when you renew.

Sorry to interrupt the tread... but the last time we were at UO was Sept. We have APs (the red ones). We renewed and are going back in May. Will we have to exchange our old APs for new ones? Also, I have had a name change since we first got them. Is it important for me to get a new pass to reflect the name change? phamton, can you help? TIA!

No you can keep your old pass. The expiration date is fixed via the computer so you can keep your same passes. If you want a new pass with your new name, just go to vacation services and they will make you a new one. You don't have to get a new pass when you change your name though. It is totally up to you.

Thank you, phamton. Sorry for the interruption. Now back to the regularly scheduled thread..... :)

Wow, that's a good deal on a preferred pass! Is anyone else just amazed at the price of Universal's annual passes.... I mean we went to a little local park last week and spent $90 to get in and there was only about 5 hours worth of stuff to do, and none of the attractions were even close to being comparable.

Anyway, thanks so much for the info! Mine is a white pass with big red letters, so I'll just call.
