I got my park tickets via hotwire this year and they're the cardboard/paper kind - can those be laminated? Would that ruin the magnetic strip on the back?

We've always had the hard credit card type in the past so this is new for me. I'm just afraid of them getting wet or torn!

Thanks for any advice!

You cannot laminate them because it ruins the strip on the back. They actually survive alot even though they look fragile! Be sure to copy the front and back in case you lose them so they can be replaced.;)

Thanks for the info. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to laminate them. I'll just have to be very careful with them!

During our visit to WDW March 2004, we had the cardboard tickets for the first time. I was amazed how well they held up. I was careful to keep them in a plastic bag for the water rides though.

Even though they look like cardboard, they are very tough. They are not really cardboard, they are a thin plastic material that just looks like cardboard. I probably would not run them thru the washer, but they will stand up to some pretty tough treatment.

They definately are not cardboard it has got some kind of plastic mixed in they are almost indestructable....I saw almost because there probably somebody out there that if they spent enough time at it could damage them....

really don't worry too much they are tough as nails...we have annual passes and never have had a problem...
