Can I give an old Magic Band to a family member?

Hi All,

I did a search, and maybe I used the wrong terms, but I can't find the answer so I apologize if this has been answered before.

Here's our scenario:

2 families (relatives) going on a trip. All staying at the BWV.

Grandpop insists he is not going, only to change his mind 6 weeks before the trip.

There are no rooms at BWV. However, brilliant daughter was able to book a room at the Swan.

He cannot get a Magic Band at the Swan, unless he pays for one (or so I was told) but he won't.

Can we give him an old Magic Band that we used on a prior trip and activate it with his MDE? The tickets previously linked to those have expired.

1. Correct.

2. The simple answer is no.
But, there's no real reason that he NEEDS a MB.
Everything (important) that a MB will do for a guest, a regular plastic ticket will do.
