We'll be going to MK October 1 when there is a MNSSHP and crowds are listed as a level 1.

We plan to be there at rope drop which will be 8am for morning EMH from 8-9.

Can we accomplish this in that hour? Would you do anything different?

Space Mountain, Buzz, Peter Pan's Flight (is the line going to be too long? Will we be 'wasting' a lot of time waiting in this line during this hour?), Winnie the Pooh, JOTLM and visiting Ariel at her grotto.

Thanks for any advice!

I would go Pan-Pooh-Space-Buzz-JOTLM-Ariel in that order.:)

I think you can do that by 9:30,but not 9:00.:)

I wouldn't trust that crowd level rating for an extra magic day. I have seen other calendars that mark the day higher. If it were truly a 1 you might be able to get all of that done in an hour to an hour and a half.

i'd do it in this order...
-peter pan
-winnie the pooh
-meet ariel
-under the sea
-space mountain
-buzz lightyear

i'd say you can definitely get the fantasyland things done within an hour but i'd say you would not also be able to accomplish space mountain and buzz lightyear within that hour.
i'd give it all more like 1.5hrs which still is not bad.

It might be a little much for one hour. Giving each one an estimated 10 minutes then puts it right at an hour. If it's truly low crowds, you may be able to achieve all that. I agree with PP that it would be closer to an hour and half.

I don't believe that is all going to fit in one hour. I think even without waiting in line, the rides alone would take longer than that, and there will be a wait for Ariel.

If you do it in this order, you have a shot, but I don't know about Ariel since I rarely spend time on characters greets. The smaller your group, the faster you move too:)

Not sure what calendar you're looking at, I've never seen crowd levels projected that low in October. Josh shows that day as a 5.

1 1/2 to 2 hours is more accuarate. Agree with doing PP and Winnie first. I was tracking EMH yesterday for an upcoming trip. Winnie was a 5 minute default wait at 8:00. By 8:30 it was about 25 minutes. Winnie has always been that way. Wait times not as high as PP or 7DMT but they do climb to around the 1/2 hour mark pretty early and often goes to the 50 minute to hour mark during the day.

Oh my plan was to do Winnie, Tea Cups, Speedway, Barnstormer and Dumbo within the hour and the go straight over to BTMR and SPlash. Not saying I will not get those 5 done within the hour but I expect to have to punt on Dumbo for later in the day. All 5 are close but it is just tough to do that much within an hour. Ride times alone can add up.

Touring Plans shows it as a 1. I do know that often with MNSSHP days, crowds are typically lower since those without a ticket won't attend the park due to its early closing.

I'll take a crowd level 5 too though!

If we do it in this order, do you think Space will have long waits by the time we get to it? I'm thinking about nixing the Ariel meet - it's not a must do for us, we've just never done it and I thought it might be fun!

no i don't think the line for space mountain will be too long by then.
also the ariel meet n greet line is short in the early AM so even if its not a MUST if you do want to meet her i'd recommend you go then and not nix it.

Ah! Ok. I don't subscribe to touring plans, so I wasn't sure. :)

I'll share what we saw during EMH at MK yesterday to see if that helps you at all.

We started by joinIng the parade to the mine train and were on and off that by about 8:10-8:15. Almost all of that time was walking because you have to follow the rope and then wind through the queue. If you skip the mine train you will be 10-15 minutes ahead of the game.

After the mine train we went to Space and rode there with about a 5 minute wait, plus the time it takes to walk through the queue, ride, and walk back through to the exit. We then went to Buzz which was a pure walk on, and then walked to Pan, arriving at about 8:45. We intentionally didn't go there first because we wanted there to be some line so we could take a little time to go through the new queue, which my wife hadn't seen yet. Plus we wanted to be able to go right to BTMRR and Splash from there.

When we got to PP the posted wait time was already 40 minutes, but from the length of the line I thought it would be less than that. We ended up waiting about 25 minutes, which was a little longer than I hoped (and longer than it was during the 7 AM EMH the week after Easter). But, we were still done in plenty of time to get to BTMRR, Splash, and POC while they were still walk ons.

Based on this, I would agree with everyone who recommends starting with Pan, then doing Pooh, UTS, and Ariel. I don't have any experience with Ariel, but I would be pretty confident that Pooh and UTS will still be walk ons. By the time you get to Space there will be a wait, but it won't be as long as the wait at PP will be at the same time. I have now done AM EMH in August, November, April, and May since 7DMT opened, and it seems obvious to me that the mine train has significantly affected how quickly the line builds up at Space.

I would agree that doing all of those things in an hour would be tough when you factor in the walking time just to get to and through the rides themselves. But, with some luck you could come pretty close, especially if you can get to SM before 9 AM.
