Can I get there in time?

We are going to WDW in October for the first time, and we're staying at Pop. When I made our ADR for CRT, I had to take an 8:30 a.m. slot in order to get in on the day we wanted. The CM booking the ressie told me that we wouldn't be able to get there in time if we're planning on using the bus. She said that the busses wouldn't be running early enough for us to get there, go through security, and make it to the restaurant on time. Is this true?

I think the OP is talking about the time from POP to MK for his ADR at 8:30 AM.

It depends on what time the park is scheduled to open. Buses do run early for people to get to their early ADR at character breakfasts. Buses usually run about 1 to 1 1/2 before the parks open. I would check with the POP to see if they can tell you whether or not an early bus picks up from there.

I don't think you should have a problem. Security shouldn't be an issue either that early.

Thanks so much for the info. And yes, I was talking about taking the bus from Pop to MK for our breakfast at CRT. Sorry for the confusion.

There are absolutely definitely buses that run early enough for you to get there. They run early buses SPECIFICALLY for people getting to early ADRs at various places. The person working in the call center might not know that, but the CMs working at Pop know it because they see it every day.

You'll have no problem except for waking up early.

To begin with, the 'regular' buses start running before 8:00. The early breakfast/tours buses start running about 6:30!!! For your 8:30 CRT ADR, you should be out at the MK bus by about 7:15ish...the early buses don't seem to come quite as often as the regular buses, so if you just missed one, you could end up waiting another 25 or so minutes. If you are able to hop on a bus before 7:30, terrific. When you get to MK, head off to the side of the turnstiles area..there will be a CM with a clipboard, with the names of people that either have breakfast ADRs or tours booked. You will be allowed to enter the park at this point. The wonderful thing is that if it isn't an EMH morning at MK, the park will be nearly empty as you walk down Main St....great photo ops here.
