Can I get my kid to manage their own account?

So DS and his friend are going with us in October. However they will not be at the parks with us (they are 18+). They are likely going to do their own thing.

I purchased the package and thus their tickets are presently under my account (I can see their tickets in my MDE). They do not have their own accounts currently. This would not have mattered prior to Genie+ - but with Genie+, they are going to have to have access to their own MDE.

If they make an account, is there any way I can transfer the ticket or link it or something so that so they can manage their own Genie? And if you tell me I am going to have to call and wait on hold for 17 hours to be hung up on, I am going to cry. It's not pretty when I cry. You really do not want to make me do it. Give me any other option. I would fly down to Orlando before I try calling.

(Sorry if this is a duplicate. I saw a few about having kids making their own accounts, but I couldn't tell if that was pre or post ticket purchase).

If they make their own MDE account, you can easily link to that new one and their existing plans will move over to their newly created account.

Once they create their MDE accounts, go to their profiles you manage in your MDE account. Select update and there will be an option to invite to plan and share. Enter the email address they used to create their MDE account. Once they accept, you will be connected to their newly created account and all of their existing plans (tickets, reservations, etc.) will appear in their account.

Helpful, instructive and tells me how to do it, too.

You're my new BFF.

If you do this, would the kids be able to undo/make changes to things like reservations?
I am worried about giving the kids in my party access like stated above, and then one of them then being able to either accidentally or intentionally change or cancel group dining reservations, lightning lanes, etc..
But I would like them to be able to explore Genie+ and help get lightning lanes, in the morning and throughout the day.

Only the lead can cancel a dining reservation (unless things have changed) and while I guess it's theoretically possible for someone to accidentally change lightning lanes for everyone, I think most "kids" are tech saavy enough to not accidentally or intentionally change EVERYONE'S plans and just their own.
