Can i get dropped off at YC/BC ?

Here now. Looking to hop to epcot at 2:00. Can I have someone drop me off at YC/BC so I can walk to the international gateway entrance?





Will we be let through the parking gates? Should we say that we are being dropped off for this reason?

Guests have reported being able to be dropped off at the Swan and Dolphin. Disney Resorts are not allowing entrance to their parking lots without proof of a resort reservation or dining reservation.

It’s unlikely you’ll be let through. The front gate attendant will ask for a hotel or dining reservation. You may at may not get lucky.

I would get dropped at the Swan or Dolphin. There’s no gate, and you can walk through the hotel to Epcot via the boardwalk (Swan), or to the YC/BC path from the dolphin.

I’d take the Swan route. They also run a boat from Swan and Dolphin.

It’s about 10 minutes longer of a walk if you walk. I’ve done both routes from Swan and BC (but I get to park or valet there) many times. It’s not that much further

You’re welcome! No no one will stop you at the Swan. Get out of your car and just walk in and say something like “coming back”. Walk through the lobby and out the back doors by Il mulino.

I usually eat at Il Mulino at the Swan and walk to Epcot. It’s a nice walk along the boardwalk. Or if I’m only going to the park, I park or valet at the BC. Not much of a difference at all in the walk

If your trip hasn’t happened yet, and you don’t mind spending a bit extra money, take a MinnieVan. They are considered Disney Transportation, so they use the guest entrance gates to the hotels and bypass the guards. We had dining reservations at Epcot last week and took a MV to BC and had zero issues. Our driver asked us if we were staying at BC or had dining reservations there, and we said no, we were going to Epcot. She said, “Oh, fun.” And that was that.
