Can I get a refund from Photopass ?

Just throwing this out there, but is there any chance of a hope that everybody has ever got a refund from their photopass purchase ? And how long do you have ?

We went to Disney last Sept when they had the free dining with PhotoPass purchase required.

We went, did pics, and come home.

When we uploaded our card we had tons of pics that weren't our, so we had to request a retrival, they were able to retrive about 10 of the missing pics, which left us with about 40 pics total for the entire week.

Some of the pics were special edit types, like where they add baby simba to your craddled arms, etc. Some of got the editing, but some did not.

Many of the pics were disappointing,

I tinkered around with trying to edit many of the pics and looked at making the book, but never actually made one and never had anything sent or even the CD sent.

I there any chance at getting a refund ? I know it's a llllooooonnnnggggggg shot. I had totally even forgotten about it, until DH said something about "are we going to get it again this Fall "

I would think you'd have to request a refund before the deadline came up for ordering prints (~60 days from the first picture). Even adding another 60 days, you're WAY past.

But, look and see if you still have a credit in your account (although I'm guessing it goes away after a certain time). If so, simply use that money to order the photopass in the fall.

It is too late to get a refund, HOWEVER check your Photopass account's cart and see if there are any credits in there. If not, you are likely out of luck, but if there is a credit in your account, you might be able to use the photos from your trip this fall. When you do the prepurchase, you have 90 days to get a refund, but I don't know how it was set up with the Memories package last year. Good luck.

If you had requested a refund upon your return when you discovered the issue you might had some luke but if you had to puchase photopass to get the free dinning and you request a refund of the photopass, you would likely then have to pay for the dinning.

You could always contact the customer service at Photopass. It never huts to ask. They have been very, very helpful & accommodating to me in the past. Good luck.

Excellent point. I had forgotten that the requirement of the Photopass purchase was to get free dining.

OP, I believe there is ZERO chance of you getting any type of a refund. Sorry.

(but still check your cart and maybe you'll get lucky and be able to get something for your money)

If I'm reading this correctly, you were given a free dining package in exchange for purchasing the photopass CD? If that is the case I doubt Disney would have refunded your money even if you did ask within the 60 day time period.

I think your only real chance is to see if you could get those credits back for your upcoming trip. If you explain that they sent you pictures that were not yours, then did not send you most of the pictures that you took, then its a possibility they might say "here, have Photopass for your trip for this year as a replacement for our mistake last year" ... but be prepared to have some kind of documentation. (Ie. I assume there were e-mails back and forth between you and them to get some of the pictures back ....). Disney is very big on customer satisfaction, and if they know you aren't satisfied they will try to compensate, though usually not with cash but rather with services which don't cost them very much ... its a much better return on investment for them to have a happy customer for giving a new Photopass package as a replacement than to just give you your money back.

I think I'll try the credit route and see if it works out.

If not, oh well, I mean I know its a long shot from the start.
