Can I get a rain cover for my stroller in Disney?

This may be in the wrong place, feel free to move it if it is. Looks like a chance of rain for a few days that we will be in Disney. I have looked everywhere for a rain cover for my stroller. I bought the Combi Soho DX and thought it came with one but it does not. Anyone know where I can get one or how to keep My 2yr old and his stroller dry? TIA!!

Last week it rained really hard Friday afternoon. I saw many a parent buy the adult rain poncho and cover their stroller with it. It seemed to cover it well and has snaps for the arm holes so they could adjust it to the stroller shape.

Hope that helps.

Enjoy your trip

I did a goole search on "stoller rain covers" and found may sites where you can order online. I bought mine at Burlington Coat Factory, I think they are made by Graco and Lionheart... I have 2 single covers that fit even the single rental strollers at Disney and I also have a cover for a side-by-side double stroller that I used on a Disney double rental stroller. Everyone was asking me if I had bought them in the park! I have used a poncho before, but they weren't clear and that didn't work very well for the kids. They also protected the basket and my feet too :earsboy:

Thanks Guys, unfortunatley we waited to the last minute and it's too late to order one. I have called Target, wal-Mart and Toys R Us and no one has them instock! I guyess we can use a poncho but I am afraid he will pull it off. Just have to pray for no rain!

There is a ToysRUs in Orlando if you were driving. :moped: Fingers crossed for no rain for you! Have a Magical Trip!

We may have to try a Toys R us on the way down. We are driving so we should be able to find one somewhere. Thanks!

I swear I saw someone selling single stroller rain covers, but I can't remember where it was. Maybe WL general store? Or the baby care center? Oh, I wish I could remember! Try giving Disney a call, and they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Toys R us usually has them so if you do get to one that is your best bet, the baby specialty stores usually have them as well. Otherwise bring a couple clothes pins or binder clips to clip a clear poncho to the stroller. Before I found the rain cover I used the dollar store ponchos because they were clear so dd's could see out. IIRC WDW now has clear ones as well. Make sure you cover it every afternoon if your leaving it to visit an attraction or eat - just in case! We once left ours outside the land and spend a while in there to come out and have the stroller soaked. Luckily it was a rental so we could wipe it dry or exchange it but if it were our personal stroller that would have been awful.

We used an adult poncho over our stroller. Worked great. DS could see out through the opening. Poncho covered the entire stroller--much better than a single stroller cover.

to cover my 9 mos old niece in her stroller..and let her put her head through the neckhole, and let her wear the hood:)

She could see fine, was ok with the rain hood, and stayed dry :umbrella:

We continued touring!! :goodvibes

HTH!!

:sunny:
