Can I get a little PD and some prayers, too?

I have been out with a back injury since November from work. I herniated two disks and have been through physical therapy, epidural steroid injections, EMG, etc. Basically, my two disks are shot and are a total mess, so tomorrow I am having a laser surgery on those disks to get rid of the herniated disk and seal the tears I have in the disks. Hopefully, I can find relief from my leg pain and numbness and back pain and go onto naturally fusing those two levels that are shot.

I really need some PD and prayers, if you don't mind. They have only given me a 50/50 chance this will work since the disks are so bad...if it does not work, I will head towards the next step of getting a fusion. I really really don't want that. Plus I am facing termination from my job in November and also I have been told that I probably need to find another career when I get better.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/11_1_100.gif' border=0></a>

Taglicarchy friends...sorry I have not been visiting with you great people, but I have been in a horrible depression with what I am facing and I just could not find a smile around such happy people. I have not forgotten how wonderful you are and when I get my mind back in gear, I will return! Miss you all!

Anyway, long post, sorry! Keep me in mind tomorrow. Seems a big day for a few of us DIS gals. Add a prayer for me too?

Hopefully this surgery will be the last... good thought and a prayer on that! Make sure you follow the post surgery instructions to the T. If the doc does not make it clear how much you can/cannot do... ASK. It is important to know how far you will be allowed to bend etc. That being said, don't think about the fusion surgery for now... I know it is alot to hope for but getting rid of the pain is a good goal.
