Can I get a copy of my deed??

I have posted on the mousellaneous board about several mess ups with regards to my DH's address in the DVC member database!! This has been going on since at least the beginning of the year. I first noticed when I never got my dues bill. Long story short...........I thought it was rectified but got a call a few weeks ago. Address was changed but again to a wrong address!! Have not gotten any mailings of upcoming trips etc. from DVC.

I just emailed MS the other day to confirm my upcoming trip and request for top floor. Explain the whole situation and asked for confirmation. MS responded and confirmed my address for me and DH to be correct!!

HOWEVER..............now she has DH's first name wrong!!!

UGH!!!! I haven't gotten a response yet from MS with regards to this!!!

What the heck is going on??? We leave this weekend to check in for 2 weeks in a 2 BR and I really don't want to have to take a day (or even a portion of a day) out of my vacation to get this address information correct!!!

Who can I speak to besides MS to ensure that all names and addresses are correct on the deed?? on the membership??? I have tried to keep pretty calm about this but now I am truly beginning to get aggrevated and frustrated!!

I remember that saga! YIKES! It almost sounds like identity issues. I would call back again and maybe even call accounting to make sure they have the correct information. Heck, I'd probably be calling EVERYONE including my guide about this. I'd want to make sure everything is correct on your contract too.

Thanks Diane!!! This SAGA just seems to be like the energizer bunny.........it keeps going and going!!! And changing and changing.

His first change of address was in Georgia, then changed to Chicago now his name is changed!! If it hadn't been for the people in Chicago to contact DVC, I would not have known about it!! They were getting all our mail!! We do have 2 contracts but lumped into one (but still technically 2 contracts)!!

Would accounting be the department to handle this all? Or should I just try to get to the head honcho on this??

Do I just call the MS number?? Or would I have other numbers in my DVC guide book??? I have to look!

I would try accounting first. You can get to them by calling the MS number. I'd actually try to talk to as many people in MS as possible on this, but I'd also call my guide to see if they can turn some cranks you haven't been able to. It sounds to me like someone entered some information on the wrong contract, and there is probably someone else out there who is having the same issues you are.

I actually would try to get through to Quality Assurance as well. They seem to have much more power to get things straight than some other groups sometimes.

I do not think the ones on the OC webste have any personal info other than a name so the address would be internal.
My suggestion would be to move back to the address they have on file it may be easier

Funny thing is Anthony................we have NEVER moved out of our home state of MA (yes, I know that is sad but it is true!! LOL). They had me at the correct address all along but had DH first living in Dallas, GA and then living somewhere in the Chicago area!!!! Unless of course, he is living a double life!! LOL!! Since I see him everynight, I think it is safe to say he is not!!!

It was an original error on the DVC part not ours!!! and it just keeps getting more and more messed up!!

Maybe you have multiple houses that you are unaware of?
This sounds like the telephone company.. if you piss someone off they change the spelling of you name to annoy you...
I would write a formal letter with your correct infomation and send it via certified mail with a copy of you deed to the person in charge of DVC --call and ask for a name and adress and nicely tell the CM manger etc it is nothing to do with them or thier service-- breifly explian your fustration in a second paragrah.
