Can I freeze cheesecake?

We got a pumpkin cheesecake from a local coffee shop for Thanksgiving. It was great, but there is a lot left over. DH and I don't want all the calories, but we don't want to waste it either. Can we freeze some of it for later?

I would guess if its never been frozen, that you can go ahead and freeze it. I have bought frozen cheesecake and it just says not to thaw and re-freeze.

That is what I thought. It was made yesterday. I would like to freeze 2 slices per container and DH and splurge once in a while.

Sure, you can freeze it. Just make sure the containers are airtight so it doesn't dry out.
