Can I extend my trip while at YC using the COME BACK rate thing

Last year while at YC they had the brochure in your room that if you book at a later date you can save 40% off room rate. We were checking out that day to head over to Universal so I called to book YC to return to 48 hours later. no problem. This year I am staying at YC thru the discount period but need a night to stay somewhere else. Was going to book room only at POR (can cancel 72 hours out) and once I hit YC see if the brochure in the room. CAll book that room and called POR. But is thre a catch where you HAVE to check out or something before returning ? Worked fine last year b/c I did check out for US for a night...Anyone have the brochure with a come back rate on it where the fine print is explained? thanks!

Unfortunately, Disney has not offered Bounce Back rates for months now. We didn't have it in September and I've been checking this board religiously to see if anyone has reported seeing them and it seems Disney has just phased them out.
