Can I Exchange MNSSHP tix for earlier Date

Called Tix Research today to see if I could trade in our 10/12 MNSSHP tix I bought in April, for earlier date; the response was:

"...yes, if I mail them back & write a note as to the new date I want"

My concern is that I won't get them back, in hand, before we leave...especially since she said it could take several weeks to process.

I was told flat out "no" as to a refund & repurchase of earlier date tixs.

Asked if we could just show up @ MK Guest Services either prior to or day of but, was told no go.

Did a search of board, thought I read a prior post as to this accommodation??Anyone remember?
 
I would make copies, and send them back ASAP with the note stating what you want.

making copies is a great idea. i would copy the original letter that came with them as well and then overnight those babies.

I was planning on sending them overnight & making the copies...always do for WDW tix so they can be replaced if "lost"...not sure if I'd have that assurance in this case.

I'd be comfortable with inquiring when we get there, can't see why we'd be denied as long as the event wasn't sold out for the new night?
 

i thought they were non-refundable or exchanges? thats what we were told when we got ours. Good luck to you.
 
Well...back of tix do indicate:

revocable

nonrefundable

nontransferrable & lots of other legal jargon...

never stopped me from asking, nothing ventured - nothing gained;)

It is rather difficult to plan 6 months ahead of time exactly what day works out the best for our family. We hate to miss the early EMH hours for MK that day, no way will we last all day & night there.
 
We just decided a few weeks ago that we would go to MNSSHP. So we called and ordered our tix for 9/29 and were so excited when we got them in the mail... until we realized they were for 10/2. We called back and the guy said to make copies and mail those back and they would replace. We were worried that they wouldn't make it there and back in time, so we rearranged our schedule. The guy also gave us the option to buy additional tix for 10/2 and send the others back for a refund, but we were leary of that since they say non-refundable. In the end it worked out better for us that Disney screwed up and sent us tix for the wrong date, now we won't be so rushed our first day there.

I can't believe they won't let you exchange them the night of they party if they haven't sold out for that night. :confused3

If I were you I would keep them, as Disney indicated that the turnaround could be 2 weeks or more for us to finally get the new tix if we had sent them back. Maybe go back to the room and nap mid-day so you can party that night.
