Going for 10 days in February. Eight park days. Can I buy two 4-Park Magic Tickets and link them both in MDE? The first ticket would be good February 3-9, but I would use the last day on the 6th. I want to start using the second ticket on the 8th. Would there be any trouble making Fastpasses?

Is this actually cheaper to do? Usually past about 4 days, you are paying about $10 a day. The only potential issue I see is you have to go to each park exactly twice and not in the same span of 4 days. I can't see any issues with fastpasses. We have two sets of 5 day tickets for reasons I won't get into and the system let me make 10 days of fastpasses no problem.

Just had to look for my own curiosity, it is definitely cheaper to buy an 8 day base ticket. It would be good for your whole trip too OP, you get 12 days to use them I think I saw.

I think an 8 day ticket is good for 12 days overall (13 if it's a hopper). So if your 1st 4 days are 3,4,5,6 and your 2nd 4 days are 8,9,10,11 you'd still be within the 12 days with room to spare. And it's cheaper than buying two 4 Park Magic tickets.

Not quite correct.
An 8 day ticket is valid over the course of 12 days overall.
That is true of an 8 day "Base" ticket or an 8 day "Hopper" ticket.
You get to add a 13th day to fully use the ticket if you buy an 8 day "Hopper PLUS" ticket.

This is no longer true. Tickets are date based now and have very specific use windows.

Thanks for that. My recollection of the new tickets didn't quite seem right to me - which was why I added the "I think" to the beginning. Wow - been many (15+) years since I've even looked at the "plus" tickets since we don't travel with kids anymore.

Because most people don't realize how cheap tickets are once you pass 5 days
