Can I do this?

My family and I have gotten along on past trips with; 1 counter service and 1 table service meal per day for our Disney trips. Since Disney is feeding us this year we up graded to the Deluxe dining plan.

We have booked several buffet meals and a few menu meals, but few three meals a day. I have calculated that we have 10 meals, each that we have to eat. The plan is to double order for our menu meals.

My question is can we do that? A co-worker says that we can only order one plate per person per visit to a restaurant on DDP.

Example: Go to LeCeller and order two meals each.

Why would you want to order two dinners per person? On the DxDP you get an app, entree and dessert course per credit. That alone is a lot of food. If you are saying that you will be too full for three TS meals per day perhaps you should change to a few signature dining restaurants that require 2 credits for one meal. The food is generally better.

No, you can not do that.

May I ask why you would want to?

We upgraded to the Deluxe dining becaue we were going to pay almost just about the same for the 2 credit meals, and we are doing several.

also this late in the game getting ADR is very hard to do. I have tried to change times on our ADR's and can not get replacement times.

I am still confused at why you would want two meals per person at one sitting. Are you really that big of an eater that each person could eat 2 apps, 2 entrees and two desserts. :confused3

Are you saying that you will have 10 leftover credits and hence don't want them to go to waste?

We booked a lot of buffet meals and we normaly eat two meals a day at Disney. We upgraded to deluxe dining becouse it would be just as much to pay for the 2 credit meals as just getting the deluxe dining.

I calculate we have 10 meals each that we do not have plans for yet. (on our last day we have used our extra dining credits to buy strangers food, but I'm not going to waiste that many credits and it's not going back to Disney.)

Are you saying that you will have 10 leftover credits and hence don't want them to go to waste? - 10 left over credits, each for a total of 30.

Well sounds like you have a lot of credits. Keep calling and checking each day for additional signature dining openings. You can also use some of your credits for counter service breakfasts. While not a great use of credits, it is better than letting them go to waste.

Thanks, I'm calling every other day as of now but when I get within my 21 day window I will call every day and twice a day. :surfweb:
