I am going down to disney on 11/2 and my friend is not going until 11/6. Can I make a reservation for cindy's castle in my name and then transfer it to her?

Yes, but the guarantee would be on your credit card unless she calls and puts hers on. If you don't have the DDP it has to be pre-paid by credit card. If you have the Plan you still have to give a cc to guarantee the ressie. You would be responsible for if she didn't show up ($10 per person fee.)

She should really just call and book it herself. There is no reason for you to book it unless you are trying to surprise her and pay for it yourself.

Were you planning to book it while you're there? or before by phone? Waiting until 11/2 to book for 11/6 might mean you get no reservation at all.

CRT is no longer the hard-to-get reservation it once was. Your friend should have no problem getting the reservation herself.
