DH and I are traveling to the wolrd for 5 days in April. DD and DSIL, and my parents are going along, however DD and DSIL are only going for 3 of the 5 days.

DD called and asked what resort we're staying at because she and her hubby and little girl would love to go at the same time. Basically not a problem. We love the friend and her husband. The littel girl is adorable and very well behaved. BUT, I know they are not going to want to pay rack rate for a DVC room. So I offer to rent them our points so they can get a room at the same resort for a much lower price point. I call and get the room.

Now, here are my questions. We would like our rooms to be relatively close. Is there any way to request this? I already have a request on our reservation for a 1st floor unit since Dad can't do steps.

Also, can we use ME for DD and DSIL since they will be arriving the day after the ressie starts and leaving the day before it ends?

thanks!

Yes, to all of your questions. All people listed on the reservation can use ME, regardless of arrival/departure times/dates.

You should be sure there is a request on all the reservations to be "near" each other. How close they are will depend upon the individual resort and building design. At OKW, the farthest we've been when we request "close by" was in adjacent buildings. Sometimes we are at opposite ends of the same building. Occasionally we've been right next door, and sometimes directly above/below.

thanks for your help, Chuck. I'll request the rooms be near each other and if DD and DSIL decide they want ME I know it won't be a problem.

Like it was said above. make sure to include your "request" about proximity in our ressie . You could even "ask" for specific building if this could make your stay even more enjoyable. Also if you can, get to the resort as early as you can (meaning dont go for lunch before trying to check in). Hopefully it will all work out!
