Hi! Here is our plan....we are DVC owners and will be at WDW in mid June. We are using our points for our stay.

Fly in at midnight Friday, stay at HoJo MAingate East (just a place to sleep)

Spend the week at VWL and Vero Beach.

We check out of Vero on Saturday, but our flight doesn't leave until Sunday at 7am. We have a ressie at HoJo's for Saturday night, but I want to keep the magic alive that last night and stay on site.We will drive in from Vero and just spend the time by the pool in the afternoon, have a nice dinner and the boardwalk or downtown Disney that night. We must check out by 5am SUnday.

I am trying to get the best cash rate for a room only Saturday and cancel HoJo's since there is not much Disney magic there

The best I found so far is POFQ @ $146 including taxes and a round of minigolf for the 4 of us. We have stayed at Alligator Bayou/Riverside before and loved that area.

Do you think I can get any better rate for a moderate or a really good deal on a deluxe

For prices in June, you probably did really well. You might want to keep an eye on the top of this board for any discounts that might come up between now and then. In the meantime, I would secure your ressies at PO-FQ, and you can always apply the discount, if it comes up later!

We are staying at PO-FQ for the 1st time this October. We love PO-R, too...but are trying different resorts everytime we go!

Karen check the www.disney.com web site under deals. I believe they are giving free upgrades on hotels right now. Book moderate get upgraded to deluxe. I'm not sure if the offer extends into june, but it could'nt hurt to call and find out.

I called and made the ressie. I figure that we promised the kids mini-golf anyway, so once we subtract that, it makes the room $100!!


This will be a nice way to end the vacation....just hanging out and soaking up every last minute of magic!!
