I bought 4 day 2 park passes from undercover tourist. We are going over our February break. Now that I see Spiderman will be down while we are there I was thinking maybe I'd like to return for a day during my summer vacation and check out Spiderman and Dispicable Me. Is there a way to upgrade the current tickets before we leave so that I can return in the summer (maybe an AP?). We will have a car while on the summer vacation so transportaion would not be an issue I will just have to deal withthe fact that I do not get on site privs.:rotfl:

i think i am confused by something you mentioned.

i'll answer it both ways............

if the tickets are for certain dates, and now you are not going at that time,
return them to UT and they will replace them.

if you are going to be in the area but not go in the UO park, you can go to the outside guest service window and upgrade those tickets to an AP.
you would pay the difference of what you originally paid for the tickets compared to the AP costs.

and if, i think this is the real question you have, are in the park for the 1st trip, go to guest services inside the park to upgrade them on the last day you are there.

you can not upgrade them over the phone.
upgrade them on the first day you use them at guest services to the preferred annual pass.
you will then receive 10% discount off of food and merch in the parks and some city walk.

if you plan for the upgrade, do it first as you can enjoy the perks for the entire first trip and all after.

The last part, thanks. After re-reading my post I can see the confusion. I bought a total of three 4 day park hopper passes for our 3 night, 4 day February break trip. We are spending the break at the Royal Pacific and US/IOA only. Every summer we also visit FL for 2 weeks, usually doing only Disney parks. Since I will be in FL anyway and have a rental car, we thought it might be fun to return to US/IOA to pick up the attractions that we will miss on our upcoming mini vacation. I thought if I could do so, upgrading my ticket would be a better choice than the extreme expense of one day, two park tickets for three people in July.
Your advice about making the upgrade on day one makes more sense as well, thanks!

since you are going soon, upgrade the tickets to a preferred annual pass then.

last year the AP's increased on March 1st.
going sooner than that, will give you the present price for the ap.

i am truly hoping the ap's don't increase again this spring.
