Can I change a passenger?

I've never done a cruise and we are thinking of doing one next summer. I'm wondering if my DH isn't able to go due to being called away for work, would I be able to change the passenger from him to my adult DD? We'd know at least a month in advance if he couldn't go. I don't want to book if I can't adjust the passenger list, but I don't want to wait and book late either. TIA

Yes, you can change a passenger name on a reservation. I believe within a certain time frame out from the cruise (maybe 30 days?) there's a charge to do it. Not sure about that.

Be sure to say "I want to change a name" not "I want to cancel Bruce and add April".

I don’t see why not - though I think there is probably a deadline close to the sailing date when all the travel documents need to be filled out.

We currently have two rooms reserved for a December cruise. And one room is a placeholder for two adults. No names attached. Though they did put in birthdates for reference.

I just looked up my reservation and it is for TBA1 and TBA2.

I have done this before. I believe that there was a small fee to make the change (maybe $75 or so?), but it was done easily.

Not unless the passenger wants to change

I just did it today! I changed from my sister in law to my husband! No issue at all for the cruise, the insurance and the ground transfers, they literally just changed the name.
