CAn I call direct?

I was wondering if anyone calls the DLR hotels directly? If so is there ever a difference in rates?
I used to work at a hotel way back when I was younger and I know we sometimes had last minute sales that reservations didn't have.

When I did make reservations to stay at the Disneyland Hotel I was able to call them direct but I think things have changed now where you call Disneyland hotel it redirects you to Disney travel company at least when I was checking the rates.. i was able to get the number at the Disneyland hotel website they do have a number (714) 956-MICKEY (6425) the 714 area code is orange county’s . So you might want to try there. If you do call that number it might re-direct you to Disney travel. I hope that helps. Anyone else want to add or make a correction please do.

I call the Grand to make reservations. The only bonus I note is that you can apply a AAA rate for the room which you can't do on the website. When we were there in Jan (on a pin thank goodness) someone walked right up and asked for the best deal and was offered $149. My pin wasn't that good
