Can I call AKL and request a B-day cake?

I would like to request a Bday cake for my DD and my dad. Can I order one (and pay for by phone) from one of the restaurants at AKL to be in the rooms when we arrive?

If you call Disney dining 407-WDW-DINE they can tell you what your options are and give you the phone numbers. They told me about it when I called about DH's birthday, but I didn't write it down.

I would also suggest calling guest services for your hotel. They may be able to take care of it through one of the restaurants there and have it charged to your room.

I have been in touch with AKL concierge re. this same sort of request. Apparently it IS done through the resort's room service so I would second HunnyBunny's advice. Good luck

call and make sure that they note on your ressie that you are celebrating 2 b-days while you are there- when you do that ask if they arrange to have a small b-day cake in your room upon your arrival. They will do it- no problem. They may also ask who the favorite characters of the b-day person is- when we've done this, there has always been a small cghoc. cake, ballons and card signed by fav. character for the b-day person. Then, when you checkin - be sure to mention it again- they are more then happy to accomodate you.
