Can I buy tickets online today with gift cards

Yes, you can use gift cards, but you can only use one card per transaction. You can go to Disneygiftcard.com to combine cards or transfer balances from one to the other. They will send the tickets in a email, which you can retrieve on your phone. Or, if you are logged in to your disneyland account when you purchase, you will also have access to your tickets on the app.

I've already combined my gift cards and have enough on 1 card to purchase tickets for all 4 of us. So if I buy them today, then I can get them delivered electronically (either email or in Disneyland app) and just take my phone to the gate? Just want to make sure I understand correctly...
