Can I buy Gold AP from DVC?

A CM just told me that DVC handles the AP purchase. I thought that I had to put the member number in MDE.

I may be wrong but I think they mean "Can I buy Gold AP from MDE?"

As in do they have to go through member services or is there a way to put in their DVC number to MDE and buy it online.

I don't know the answer in regards to the gold AP specifically but I used to buy my old APs with DVC discount online so I can't see why not. However I've not had a reason to buy it yet...

If MDE account is connected to DVC account, all you need to do to buy new Gold passes is go to MDE account, sign in, open Parks & Tickets on top left and click on Annual Passes. That should take you to a page where the Gold ticket is one of the options and continue on from there. Note, if instead you want to renew from a prior annual pass to the Gold, you will need to call member services.

Note, you probaly connected the accounts when you set up MDE. To determine whether MDE account is actually connected to DVC account, on the MDE site open MyDisneyExperience on top right, click on My Profile, on the next page open Memberships and Passes, and on next page a DVC Membership will be listed if the accounts are connected. If none is listed, there is a icon toward the bottom for adding a membership and you can start the process there.
