I bought the tiny juicy juice boxes for my kids ( 4 oz) can I bring them and If I can how do I go about it?

Only if you wrap them up very carefully to prevent leaks and put them in your checked baggage -- they won't make it through the TSA checkpoints.

You won't be able to take them through security. Check www.tsa.gov for all the official rules.

Liquids or gels brought in carry-on luggage must be in 3 ounce or smaller containers, and all of those containers must fit into a single quart-sized zip-top bag, closed. These rules are per ticketed passenger, not per party.

With this info it hand, it is now obvious to you that 4 ounce juice boxes can't be brought through security.

HOWEVER, anything you buy after going through security is okie-dokey. But I wouldn't count on being lucky enough to find exactly what you need on the other side of security.

If there is a McDonalds on the other side of security (most airports have them now) you can buy the juice boxes from them. they are a lot more expensive (1.19) but that is the only way you will get them.
Most airlines have apple juice on board so I would just get something for the wait before boarding and then ask right away for some as you get on the plane. I know I need to get something for my grandson to drink so his ears will not get blocked and I plan on asking for juice as soon as I board the plane.

Hmmm I beg to differ. All these incredibly costly security measures that inconvenience passengers every day, yet the TSA fails to detect weapons in most independent tests, and nothing has been done to secure cargo shipments on passengers planes whatsoever.

Triple locking the front door is not effective if you leave your windows open all the time.

Yes, but this way the TSA can ACT like they are doing something. The TSA is run by Kip Hawley a man who is an IDIOT!

you aren't safer, but you are more harrassed, your tax dollars at work..... :rotfl2:

(And when you say your prayers. PRAY the next "terrorist" idea is NOT exploding clothes. Considering the TSA's "reactionary" system we will all have to fly NAKED!)

When we flew last January, they wouldn't let us bring on a small, unopened clear plastic bottle of Coke that DH had just bought at the airport a few yards away. We were told no liquids, period.

The rules have now changed. If you buy in the "Sterile" area after security then you can bring it on.

(Exactly how "sterile" this area is may be an issue since the TSA doesnt' screen airport workers. Once again proving thier incompetence!)

haha! I was thinking something similar... the terrorists just need to swallow the next threat so we will be subjected to probes or spontaneous regurgitation!

If you buy the juice at the McDonald's before security, you lose it. If you buy the juice at the McDonald's after security, you keep it.

When we went through MCO last Oct, I could bring sippy cups through, which were containing juice, but I couldn't bring through Gatoraide juice boxes. I was told he couldn't see what if anything was in the cups but he knew the Gatoraide had juice in it.

I didn't ask and just got rid of the juice boxes, it was easier than claiming them.

So this time, I'll just bring empty sippy cups and get something on the other side to put in them.

I have seen families ask flight attendants for juice fill ups for their empty sippy cups on board.
