Can I bring food from food court back to Room

We brought breakfast back almost every day at CBR and lunch one day. When you order the food, tell them you want it to go and they will put a lid on it for you. Then when you check out ask for a bag. The cashiers have big bags with handles that makes carrying it all back very easy. Two people easily got breakfast for all 8 of us.

We have 2 rooms for our family so one room key says 1 adult, 3 children and the other card says 1 adult, 2 children. We ran in to snarky CM's at least twice last month that wanted to see that we had one meal for each person in our party. During the end of our trip we had quite a few QS meals left, and so during breakfast we'd sometimes get another adult meal to share among everyone if they were still hungry. We had one cashier that balked at this idea and said we couldn't do it. I don't understand why not? They were our QS meal credits and what would have been the difference if we'd sat down, ate and then came back and gotten another couple of meals to split?

The CMs were correct. They are not supposed to let anyone order more meals than they have people showing up on their KTTW card. In other words if your KTTW card said 2A and 2C then all they are supposed to let you order are two adults meals and 2 kids meals.

In your case the CMs were not supposed to let you order more than 1 adult meal and 3 kids meals on one card and 1 adult and 2 kids meals on the other card. It's to prevent people from sharing with people not on the DDP. CMs have posted that they've been warned it can cost them their jobs if they allow people to order other than what they are supposed to on their KTTW cards.

I didn't know this. Fortunately, our family was in a family suite and all on one reservation. However, I could see things getting confusing if we stayed in two separate standard rooms.

Okay....so how does that differ from me checking out with 1 adult 3 children's meals (by the way....those children are eating adult meals because they are 'juniors' or adults according to Disney) but still listed as children on the ressie and dining plan. Anyhow...how does that differ if I use one card to check out, my teen son goes through a line and gets his own and pays with his card and my husband goes through another line and gets his meal and another child? So they can't tell by my KTWC how many 'adult' meals I should have, and if I buy an adult meal and then eat it and go back up for another one....how again does that work? I mean if I get an extra adult meal now, later or just send my teen through another line to get an extra meal....why would it get a CM in trouble? Since we go during FD, I don't fuss too much over credits and such...but if I were paying for these credits I would be mad at a CM for telling me I couldn't purchase the meals the way I wanted to.

Sometimes I think that the dining plan has made things too complicated....when we went out to a TS meal, where we paid OOP....no where did they tell us what we could order, how much we could order or who had to eat from what menu. I like the prepaid (in this case free) aspect of it....but at the same time, there are way too many rules and these CM's have their jobs on the lines so they are usually NOT very friendly....they are too busy counting guest and plates.
