Can I bring a hot plate?

Planning to stay in a studio and was hoping I could bring a hot plate. Think it would be ok?

No I really don't think that is a good idea.

I would suggest calling the resort and asking. I thought of this myself and the only real on-topic answer I found was from a forum moderator and this is what he/she said:

• Disney Vacation Club Studios have a kitchenette with a microwave, coffeepot and undercounter refrigerator. They also have a countertop where a hot plate or crock pot could be placed outside of the bathroom and a sink for cleaning things up.

On the other threads I've seen about hot plates, people tend to get into speculation wars and I still haven't seen a concrete answer.

From what I understand, you can get a rice cooker delivered to your room and there are lots of great websites with rice cooker recipes and cooking methods. We are thinking of using this method to cook egg frittatas for breakfast and maybe making a few other meals.
