I will be staying 2 weeks in Orlando in August 2004, but I was planning on staying only 4 nights onsite at a moderate resort - and offsite the remaining days. I really don't want to pay for that last day which I'm almost positive is included in the price. We will be checking out early and will not use the parks on check out morning.

I was planning on booking a 3 night dream makers package and then 1 night at a AAA rate. Can I do this? I can save at least $200. Do I have to pay 2 deposits? Would I have to move rooms? And finally, will I be able to have all the parks for 4 full days - just not my check out day? Does this make sense?

You can book 2 reservations. When call ask if it's possible to have the reservations linked. You'll to make two deposits. When you check in, let the CM know that you have 2 reservations and you may be able to keep the same room. I did this without any problem last April. You'll be able to enter parks for four full days.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to book room only and just buy hopper passes?

Thank you, thats what I thought. It just doesn't make sense to pay more and I know we are not using that last day. If memory serves check out is pretty early too. Once I leave Disney's Property I don't plan on returning.

Do you know when they will release summer August 2005 Dream Maker Package rates? Do they release for the full summer or just up to July 2005 - I think thats how they did last year. August wasn't released until June.

I think all of the regular packages for 2005 are out now. I called today to get price quotes for our April trip.
