I am going to book the Poly for 3 rooms now for 4/2004. I know I am planning way ahead but I want to make sure we get 3 rooms together. (BTW will I have to fax this request 4 days before also or will they see they are all reserved together and keep us together????) I will have an AP at that time and I am really not familiar with booking a room with that. Do I mention it now even though there are no discounts? Will there be any discounts for April anyway? If for some reason there is a discount will they make me cancel the ressies and rebook? I don't want to do that because I want to keep the rooms together...Any help is appreciated!!! Thanks!:D

You only need to have the AP or AP voucher in hand at check-in to get the rate. You can book with no discount to get your foot in the door and hope you can apply an AP discount to your existing reservation when, and if, they come out.

I've always been told when reserving a room before disocunts come out that my old ressie had to be cancelled with a new one being generated. Also, making your ressie so far in advance will have no impact on you getting 3 rooms together. If all the rooms are under your name, they do their best to have them all together and if you need connecting for young children they also try there also. There is no guarantee to getting rooms together, and booking so far in advance wouldn't really help all that much. A note on the ressie, and faxing right before check-in would be your best bet. It also depends when in April 2004 you plan on going to receive an AP rate. If it's for a couple weeks after Easter break, you'll probably be o.k., if it's during any of the Easter vacation then most likely with an AP you'll be out of luck.

They will only have to cancel the old ressie and make a new one if you book through DC. When booking through CRO, you can easily apply a code or AP rate to your existing ressie without having to make an entirely new one. You keep the same ressie number and everything. I do it all the time. Of course they have to have that particular resort included in the codes or AP rate. I did it this past October for the Poly and plan on doing it again for April. Just waiting for those new rates to come out. :D

I booked through CRO without the AP discount, when the AP's came out I called and she just applied it to my reservation, no cancelling involved.
