Can I book Lyft ahead of time at Disney?

I've read that in some areas you can book your Lyft ride up to 7 days in advance. Has anyone done this in WDW? We are heading down there for a horse show and staying at a Disney resort. I need to arrange an early ride (6:30am) to a location approximately 20 minutes away. We don't need a ride back to the resort because a friend will take us back. Any info is appreciated!

Two answers -- yes, it is possible; NO, don't do it.

Scheduling a ride with Uber or Lyft means absolutely nothing except that they will dispatch the ride 15 minutes early or so. The most likely outcome is the driver gets there early, you're not there, so you get hit with a cancellation fee -- which, for a scheduled ride, is $10.

You will have no problem at all getting a ride at 6:30 AM anywhere in the Disney area. There are an abundance of drivers, and that is a busy time of day.

Agree. 6:30 is not early when it comes to Uber/Lyft. Remember, non-park people will be up around then and will have to get to work too.

I agree with the others. There is no reason to schedule ahead.
