I'll be needing an overnight stay. I wonder if I can book just a room in SF? Don't want to move, would be much easier. And would it cost a lot?

It really depends on what day of the week it is. Expedia offer great room only prices for March though. If not try the kyriad perhaps as its almost onsite & normally comes in at a good price on alpharooms & hotelscombined.com

I tried that and prices are good, but we'll be staying in Santa Fe, so I thought I could make a booking for SF, so we wouldn't have to move. Don't know if that's possible and how much would that cost. None of those pages let me book SF, just "rooms not available".

you'll need to call Disney then Isila, and ask them how much it will cost to add one night with no tickets on to your package.

Would that mean a new booking? Last time when I wanted to add an extra night (make 6 night stay instead of 5), they told me I would loose the offer I made a booking and it will be re-booking with current offer. :confused3
Anyone know (or remember) how much SF rooms cost?

Hi Isila. I have just been on Expedia and guessing that it was 18th March you want the room for, got a room at the SF for £63 for the night (excluding park tickets).

Sorry Isila I thought it was March you were going in. I'll have a look for you xx

Tried a few but it seems they have no availability. If you give DLP a ring Isila because I cant get a price but also don't forget if you have an AP you can get discount.
Sorry I cant be of any more help but at least the nearby partner hotels are a reasonable enough price if you really do have to add a day or two on without tickets. I think I saw the Kyriad for about €85.

Rack rate (the rate you pay if you walk in to book at the hotel) starts from around 130 euros in lowest season for the santa fe as i recall.
6th april wont be low season price unfortunately.

For a experiance a room at the Santa Fe (Room Only) booked on EBookers is about £37 and with Disneyland Paris about 110 Euros if booked on the day at reception.

Isilas problem is the date she needs the room ~ sunday 6 april is after the end of the cheap rooms period.

Maybe it's worth waiting a week or two and looking again on Expedia/ebookers? It was coming up with 'rooms not available' when I was looking for booking rooms only (we'd bought annual passes) for last December, but closer to the date it got, they suddenly became available. I think Disney release spare rooms to external companies closer to the dates....

No, I need for 6th April.

My apologies Isila. I misread your sig (forgot we are now in 2014!) and based a search on that. The problem with looking for 6th April perhaps is that UK schools will have broken up for the Easter holidays.

Personally, I think I would go with as cheap as I could offsite for that night, not unpack - just put washbag and clean clothes at the top of my holdall and hop on the train one stop the next morning.

Well you could do what i did once, and not check out.

I had booked the wrong retrun date for my Eurostar tickets once and only noticed it on the Thursday morning, (hotel was booked for Monday - Thursday), and I had booked the retrun Eurostar ticket for the Friday. Don't ask :confused3 - I'm much more organised these days. So I took the risk never checked out of the Hotel Cheyenne on the Thursday.

This was during March and the hotel and park were very, very quite.

I was expecting my room key card not to work when I went back to the room at 2pm, but the bed had been made and the key still worked.

Next morning I dropped my key off at reception in an envelope with a little note explaining I stayed and extra night due to an error made with the booking of my train tickets and asked them to send me a bill for the additonal nights stay.

They never contacted me asking for the money... guess it was too much effort for them to bill me for the extra night.

Brave, I'll give you that. Recommended? No lol.

You run the risk of being stranded with no where to sleep for the night :-/ Or worse, being billed rack rate when you could have got a cheap room at the Premier Classe for ¬40.....just my opinion :)

I wouldn't dare do that :lmao: Just.. well.. I don't have the courage. :thumbsup2 But it's a great story :lmao:
