Can I book both WL & CSR?

Hey all!

I am planning our second trip to WDW!! Our first trip was in 2002, we stayed at CBR and I loved it!!We had a wonderful time. Hubby just told me to add a few days to our florida trip to include WDW this summer so we are planning to go to WDW June 6 through the 11 th this year and would like to try another resort. We can afford a moderate reg rates so I wanted to book at Coronado Springs to try it , however if room rate specials come out for that time we may be able to upgrade to Wilderness Lodge I guess I need to know should I book both CSR and WL for that time , pay my deposits and when the trip gets closer cancel one? Does Disney allow you to book more then one resort for the same dates? Or is it better to book the Deluxe and down grade if specials aren't released or book the moderate and upgrade if specials are released? I hope this makes sense - LOL. I plan to book the room only so if specials are released I can try to change my reservation for the better rate. Thanks to all - these boards really are a life saver!! Or should I say WDW vacation saver!LOL

Disney wont' allow you to hold two room ressies for the same dates at different resorts. So, what I would do is book the moderate and if codes become available try to upgrade. Booking a room doesn't guarantee getting a code discount, if they become available. They only block a certain number of rooms, regardless of current ressies, so if the discount is available it would be available regardless of a current ressie at the hotel.

Thanks Lori! That was exactly what I needed to know - I wasn't sure about booking both - and I rather book the one I know we can afford and if specials come out and by chance we can get them it would be a treat to upgrade. I appreciate your help!
