Can I use my Gad towards the purchase of my park tickets needed to get the free dining?

You will be purchasing tickets (2days) with your resort package; you may not use the GAD to purchase those.
You could:
- use your GAD one day, then use the tickets from your package (buying one less day than you need)
- save the tickets from your package to be used at a future visit. Then redeem your GAD for a ticket and upgrade that
- use your GAD to receive fastpasses
- use your GAD to receive the collectors pins & figurine set

Yep, that about covers your options. Just a few other thoughts:

The package tickets will not expire if you don't use them. You can either keep them on your room key or have them removed. You can use them years later.

The cost difference between a 3-day and a 4-day ticket is about $10, and the cost to add additonal days is about $5 each. So if you are planning to stay more than three days, using the GAD voucher as one of your park days doesn't give it much value. If you are staying several days, it would probably make more sense to either use the GAD for FPs or the pins or upgrade the GAD and save the other tickets for later. Using more than one ticket on one trip is usually not a good value.
