Can I add a night to my waitlist!

We are considering adding an extra night to our July trip. We currently have a standard studio at the Poly (for 4 nights) and waitlisted for a lake view. Can I add a night to that waitlist without losing my spot in the queue? Right now both standard and lake view are available for that extra night, so I could make a separate reservation — but I’m not sure which view to book. It is July 4th week, so I’m not optimistic the lake view will come through and we already have a split stay, so I don’t want to switch rooms again for that last night. Advice?

You can't change a waitlist online without cancelling what you have and then making a new waitlist. Call MS and see if they can.

I'd book the standard view now so you don't have to move and then waitlist all 5 nights for lake view. I'm assuming you don't have enough current use year points to hold the standard view as a back up until all the lake view nights come through. If you do, then also book the lake view single now and use your 2 waitlists to book the other 4 nights as 2 & 2.
