Can I add 1 day to a ticket?

We had to change the dates of our trip and will now be taking a longer vacation. We 'may' want to add 1 more day to our park ticket. Can we do that at the park or AKL (our hotel)? We currently have 6 day tickets. Thanks!

Yes, you can add a day on at any point before the end of your last day. You can do it at Guest Relations at any of the parks or DS. I'm not sure if the hotel can do it.

It can be done at the lobby Concierge Desk.

Adding the 7th day will cost just $10.65, per ticket, including tax.

Just want to add you can only do this on certain tickets. I found out the hard way you can not upgrade a ticket bought through runDisney :(. We originally didn't buy the waterparks and more option because we were worried it might rain. We thought we could add it at the parks like a regular ticket since runDisney is owned by Disney. We were wrong and the booking and tickets are sold like educational/conference tickets and once the event starts they can't be changed since it all has to be done through the group booking before hand. They were going to charge us $500 to upgrade 3 tickets! Thankfully the CM knew that was wrong but management said there was nothing they could do even when he suggested just giving us one day water park tickets for what the upcost should have been. We learned the hard way.

Just wanted to give that caution because if you booked not through the regular number or wdw website there is a possibility the tickets can't be upgraded or added to.

You sure can. Last month when we went we thought that we wanted a rest day, so we only had a 5 day ticket. We decided to go to the parks on our rest day, so when we got to Epcot we went to the ticket booths and they upgraded them, no problem. We even got our tickets from Undercover Tourist. Your hotel should be able to do it too.

I just added a day through my disney experience...you just have to update your resort reservations and the tickets are in there

Thanks! I currently have a rest/pool day with HDDR dinner. There is evening EMH that night at MK. The kids have mentioned wanting to do it so if we get there and they feel like it we can!

Yes - as long as they aren't tickets tied to some special rate/event. In that case, some are able to upgrade and some are not. Ticket bought through Disney or a place like UT are able to be upgraded easily.

We've done the Y.E.S. tickets before and those cannot be upgraded.

YES tickets can't be upgraded. Some RunDisney tickets can be but not all. (I've seen posts by other trusted disers saying they have done it)

You have a package. That's easy to change. But if you have a ticket in hand, not a future package ticket, it's not as simple.

Can I also assume that tickets bought at a local AAA office have to be upgraded at the park/resorts (not online through MDE)?
