I meant to get an AC charger for DS's IPOD & totally forgot.

We leave early tomorrow am.

Anybody know if he can charge it on the computers at Community Hall? or anywhere else?

Thanks!

I doubt it. You need to keep it plugged in for a few hours to totally charge it. You could still get a charger at Target or Best Buy when you get to Orlando if you don't get one today.

I bought a charger at Walmart for $29, and it works great! The only thing is that you need your cord that came with your iPod, so bring it along, unless your iPod is a shuffle(they attach directly). The charger is a little square that plugs into the wall, and the cord plugs into that.

I bought chargers for my kids shufles and my video iPod that plug into the wall and lighter at Krogers for $5.

You could by a cheap powered USB bus and plug your iPods USB cord into that and charge many iPods at the same time. :cool1: :smooth:

I know the OP is long gone, but FWIW, SSR CH no longer has computers. They were the Mickey Computers without internet access and they gave them to the OKW CH and replaced them with more PS2 stations. :wizard:

Thanks for the replies!

Just got back yesterday - great time- will post more later.

I did end up geting an A/C charger at Office Max right before we left for about $30. Worked great.

Yes, the computers are gone from SSR CH - 3 Play Station set ups there now. Boys had a blast here between the ping pong & PS it was a nice way to unwind at the end of the night. Staff gets kudos as well - very friendly.

Glad you had a great trip! I love the recreation staff at SSR CH. They are the nicest! Great with kids.

That is one of the reasons we love SSR. My boys love it too. Dh likes to unwind with puzzles so we spend most of our evenings there.
I think the PS2 stations were an upgrade from the computers. :wizard:
