I see your new to DIS. Hello and welcome! Maybe we are misunderstanding your question here. Fast Passes are at "tickets" you get at the attraction itself, like Buzz Lightyear, in the theme parks using your theme park ticket. It's like a waiting in line kind of pass and they allow you to return at a set time to enjoy the ride. Concierge is able to get you theme park tickets, but not the fast pass distribution tickets. I hope this makes more sense.

We've had the pleasure of staying on the concierge level of a couple of Disney resorts. The concierge staff can and often do some amazing, magical things for guests. But this request is beyond their reach -- literally. As VAgal76 said, the FP machines are located near specific rides in the parks. You must insert an admission ticket in the machine for each Fast Pass.

Disney concierge staff work their magic at the resorts via PCs and telephones. I've never seen them run to the parks to get FPs.

Can you believe that? If you can think of it it can be done......for a price.

That's the phone number for VIP Tours and yes I believe that for a price, you can pretty much get anything. We were at MGM last December waiting in line for the resort boat after Fantasmic. A few guests walked past this very long line and stepped right onto a pontoon boat that was waiting there just for them. One of them remarked that it was definitely worth the extra they paid for VIP services.

This is what Disney states regarding their VIP Tours: Priority entrance to attractions is neither offered nor available. And that is what my experience is. The same holds true for FassPasses.

This Summer, Nutz4dzny treated her family and my family to a VIP Tour at Disneyland. Our tour wound up lasting over 9 hours (we did both Disneyland and the California Adventure theme parks). The tour was wonderful.

Our VIP Tour Guide used her theme park knowledge in order to get us on as many rides as was humanly possible that day (she also was in communication with various folks in order to find out what rides had the shortest/longest queues at any given moment in time). If we needed FastPasses for a particular ride because the ride queue was too long, our VIP Tour Guide took our park passes and went to the FastPass machine and got FastPasses for us while we rode another ride with a shorter ride queue. I need to note that our FastPasses were issued just like every other Disney guest’s FastPasses were issued, and we could only ride the ride according to the time stated on the FastPass. There were no tricks involved.

Thanks to our VIP Tour Guide’s extensive knowledge of the Disney theme parks, we didn’t use very many FastPasses that day. Our guide knew what parts of the parks would be busy and what parts wouldn’t be, and she laid out a tour plan that took advantage of that knowledge.

That's $125 an hour PER PERSON. My family of three $125 x 6 hours x 3 = $2250. Maybe after I win the lottery, until then, that is what my 13 year old is for. (to go get fast passes)

The nice thing about the VIP Tour Guides is that you can pick their brains regarding all sorts of Disney trivia. That is worth the price alone.

I should also note that there is a maximum number of guests for a VIP Tour. If you go over the maximum number, additional guides will be required.

Also, the VIP Tour Guides can pick you up at your Disney resort and transport you to the theme park. In our case, our guide met us in the lobby of Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel (that was where we were staying). She walked us over to the Downtown Disney monorail station (click here) and we took the monorail to the Disneyland Theme Park (click here). Since we were staying on Disney property, that was a very fun way for our group to begin our tour.

Well, while I know it is official policy that VIP guides do not give you instant front of the line access, I know that I have seen the VIP guides at WDW get fastpasses repeatedly at will with a special card/pass that the CM had around her neck to use in the fastpass machines instead of the guests tickets. I assume since they use this special pass it meant...something.....that perhaps they could hold as many fast passes as they needed at one time, and/or perhaps gave them a shorter wait time until their scheduled ride time, but who knows? Only the VIP guides and Disney.

Also, I have certainly seen celebrities at WDW being escorted into non-fastpass rides through the exit--no fastpass required, lol.

I agree, Disney can and will do almost anything, for a price. I mean, you can even get the entire park to yourself....if you can pay for that! LOL

But celebrities get special access for crowd control, NOT (exactly) because they're celebrities. I mean, if they weren't famous, there wouldn't be any need to give them back door access to the attractions, since they wouldn't be attracting mobs of people, but, well, you know...

Yes, you are right, but I should have been more specific: I have seen the families of celebrities (not the celebs themselves, so no crowd control excuse) and also other VIPs taken in the back doors. Not necessarily just average folks who have simply paid for VIP services, but folks who for whatever reason, WDW was treating very specially. It's done.

Just wanted to add something....

When I went into a "model DVC room" at the BWV this last trip, the guy was trying to talk me into doing the DVC tour at SSR. I was not interested, because I did the tour about a year a go (it is very interesting and entertaining and not a "hard sell" so I highly recommend it to anyone.) I was asking what they were giving as a "perk" to do the tour. Tthe last time I did the tour they gave $100 Disney Dollars just to listen to the 1 hour spiel.

Anyway, he said they are offering no perks at this time, except a free dinner (but when pressed, he admitted it was counter service.) He also said they can get you , and I quote, "Fast passes, and, you know, whatever you want." I did not press him for anymore info, but I did make a mental note that someone out there gets fast passes for people.
