I'm going to be in DL next month and am lucky enough to get into Club 33. Does anyone know if the ticket to get into the park can be upgraded at current daily rates to an AP? Is it worth anything towards an AP?

TIA!

The last time I was there in March cm's were really pushing the ap and were happy to answer any questions about rates, discounts, etc. From what I was told on my last visit, I was under the impression that if you had already bought a park ticket for that day and you decided to by an annual pass that day after having bought the park ticket, you could get some sort of price break on buying your pass because you bought the ticket for that day. I'm not sure of the details because I decided not to do it. I'm not sure if that still applies, but it would definitely be worth investigating. All the cm's I talked to when I was last at the parks were either very knowledgable, very helpful or both. I would ask when there if you could get a discount on an ap or a refund on your ticket for that day if you bought an ap. It never hurts to ask. Good luck!

My guess would be no, because a Club 33 ticket would be considered a comped ticket. What you actually pay for is the meal. Anyone else? I could be completely wrong.....

Unfortunately, as a Complimentary Ticket, the admission tickets offered to Guests dining at Club 33 in Disneyland Park have no value, and may not be upgraded towards or otherwise applied towards the purchase of an Annual Passport.

I was under the impression that admission to Club 33 is separate from admission to the park, and guests to the club still have to pay there way into the park. If this is true, admission to the park would have to be purchased separately, and therefore the ticket purchased not for Club 33, but for park admission would have a value that might be able to go toward an annual pass.

Again, this is mostly conjecture, so I would ask at the park. Good luck!

This is correct. Your comp ticket will have no value toward an AP upgrade. Enjoy your visit to Club 33!

A reservation at Club 33 comes with complementary park entry. You will receive a 1 day park hopper. It will be marked "Complementary" and it has no upgrade value.

As others have mentioned here, most reservations at Club 33 come with a one day park hopper that is marked as complimentary. It has no upgrade value and is only valid on the day of your Club 33 reservation. Here is a picture of the front/back of my Club 33 parkhopper from earlier this year:

I have heard of some members who do not allow a parkhopper to be given out when they make a reservation for a guest. However, this is more the exception than the rule. I would imagine that a member got burned by someone in the past. Because if you pick up your Club 33 parkhopper in the morning and never show for your Club 33 reservation, the member is billed for it anyway.

Anyway, the free parkhopper is a perk of being a guest of Club 33. Enjoy! :goodvibes

Things have changed recently. If the guest has an Annual Pass or is a Cast Member, they will not leave passes for them. My understanding, someone (AP or CM) got caught selling the pass.

This is what I was wondering. I knew that a reservation to 33 included a ticket, I just wasn't sure if it had any value. Based on the response from other members, it appears to be comped and has no value towards an AP upgrade.

I'll bite the bullet now and get my AP's ordered rather than waiting.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!!!

Crazy. I was not an AP at the time, although I am now. Too bad, I liked saving the Club 33 passes as a memento.
