Can characters sign casts?

My son broke his arm three weeks ago and will be in a cast for our trip next week (at least it is waterproof!!). I was just wondering if the characters could sign his cast or not? It is not a big deal, but I thougt it would be kind of cool if they coud. He just got this brand new waterproof one this week, so it doesn't have any signatures yet, unlike his first one. Just wanted to leave lots of space if they could. Thanks in advance!

Yes, they can! I saw a girl with a thigh to foot cast last year. It was covered with characters signatures, including a very prominent, "Donald Duck, #1." Just make sure to ask the cast tech where they'll cut the cast to get it off so you can color in a line where characters can't sign so not signatures will be lost.
