Can Characters Sign A Photo Mat?

For our wedding trip, we got 2 of those photo frames with the mat around the pic so you can sign. One is for our wedding guests, and the second is to have character to sign it.
But now im second guessing that the characters will be able to sign it. Sure, theface characters will have no problem, and guys like Pluto are better off signing it at a character meal so they can lean on a table, but what about the others. The frame is about 11" across and 15" high, with most of that being the mat to sign on.
has anyone been "a friend of a character" that might be able to my fears aside?

I don't think it would be a problem- because I've seen people have them sign soft baseball caps and t-shirts and I think that would be more difficult than a photo mat. At least the photo mat is sturdy and flat.
