I have never been on this ride but in October, my mom is coming with us to disney. I'm thinking she might enjoy this ride, since she's not into fast rides. I don't like things that go around. Has anyone gotten dizzy on this ride? Thanks for any advice, Linda

I don't think it will (and I have an inner ear problem). It will, however, cause you to have "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" stuck in your head for the rest of your life.

It moves reeeaaaally slow - I've never heard of anyone having issues with it.

I wouldn't consider it a "ride" - more like a show stage that you slowly rotate around at certain points.

Only if you get out of the ride and spin around and around and around really, really fast. ;)

Only if repetitive songs tend to get stuck in your head... :)

Seriously, as the other posters mentioned, this isn't a thrill ride. Its an theater - except the "theater" rotates around different scenes on a circular stage. You probably wouldn't even notice much, thinking that instead the stage is what is rotating, except you feel the starting/stopping slightly.

It only moves a short distance, then stops for 5 or so minutes, then moves a short distance again. It is not a continuously moving ride and only makes one full circle the duration of your time on the ride, maybe 20-30 min??

Ah...and now it is stuck in my head.

Seriously, though, as others have mentioned, I don't think it would be possible to get dizzy from it. :)

It's really, really slow moving. I wouldn't worry about getting dizzy. Actually, it might even seem like the stage is moving rather than your seats - although it is your seats that move. But it's that slow.

If you get dizzy on this ride, then you should probably stay home.

I'm kidding... but as others have said, I've never heard of anyone getting motion sickness here.

Always wondered about this..... can you get off of the ride once you are on it? You know, during one of the "shows" when it is in a stopped position?

I don't think so. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm sure unless there's an emergency evacuation you're pretty much just in there.

And now I have the song stuck in my head .....help

The last time we were there a father took his crying baby out the back door during the show. Obviously someone is watching because an announcer came over the system and started yelling for people to stay in their seats! He was yelling very rudely too. Really dumb since the guy who got up was gone! :sad2: The yelling was so bad DH even complained to the CM's outside.

Its not a ride but a show where you sit in a theater and every 5 or so minutes the theater moves to the next stage, so no you won't get dizzy.

I get so dizzy in this ride it rocks me to sleep. Seriously, nice cool place to take a catnap in the hot summer. :thumbsup2
