Can anything ever be easy?

Ok, this is the first time I've posted a new thread on this board........so here goes.
We moved here a year ago, (military). I am happy to be back in the north east, and very close to my family. Of corse my DH and the kids went to work and school and made friends, and I looked for a job. I finally got a great job that I loved. I was working 1 on 1 with a student in the same school that my DS attends, what a lucky break, right?
I worked with this student for six months, and then he moved, no more job Then a month to the day after I lost my job, my dear father passed away. Although I kept looking for work, the time with no job seemed a blessing as I was able to really "be there" for my mom. The only thing that kept going through the bad moments was planning a trip to WDW.
So, since April I have applied for everything I qualify for with not much luck..........Finally, today I get a call for an interview! It's a great job that I have really wanted, great hours, ok pay, ect... Well, they are interviewing this Friday..........I am leaving for WDW on Thursday! I mean the camper is packed, DH has leave all planned, the kids are excited..............
We are dirving, and have plenty of time to get there, but I don't want to delay the vacation if I don't have to. I asked the woman who called if I could possibly interveiw sooner, like tomorrow, and she said to call back first thing in the morning. I hope I can interview....I really need to be working again. Especially with the kids going back to school soon.

Well, I called at 9am just like I said I would. The woman that I spoke to yesterday is out sick today! Can you even believe this??? The receptionist put me through to the person who does the interviews, and I got her voice mail I left her a message explaining my situation and hopefully she'll call me back. If not, then I guess it's just not the job for me I have decided NOT worry about or let it ruin my vacation.

Sometimes things just arent meant to be. Just remember to NOT dwell on it and enjoy your vacation.
