a comedian who had an unsuccessful TV show?? I can only think of the success of Jerry Seinfeld, Tim Allen, Ray Romano, Rosie O'Donnell, Bernie Mac. No one who came out with a show that "sucked".

Didn't Margaret Cho have a show a year or two ago? I don't think it lasted more than a few episodes. I like her stand-up comedy but never had a chance to see the sitcom.
